How organ-specific is the migration of 'naive' and 'memory' T cells?
摘要:
The concept that 'naive' T cells (CD4 + CD45RA hi ) selectively migrate into lymphoid organs and 'memory' T cells (CD4 + CD45R0 hi ) migrate into nonlymphoid organs has been enthusiastically taken up by the scientific community. However, even today, this premise is based mainly on indirect evidence obtained in one species. Here, Jürgen Westermann and Reinhard Pabst argue that, in the light of recent data, the generalization of this concept was too early.
