Pharmaceutical oral dosage forms for fenofibrate are described in which the active drug is formulated as storage stable self-emulsifying preconcentrate composed of an oil phase including triglycerides, fish oils, free fatty acids and esters, vegetable oils, a non-ionic surfactant and a hydrophilic component such as hydroxy alkanes, polyethylene glycols and the like. Increase fenofibrate results.
