摘要：

we describe one kind of ultra-high count and density optical fiber cables(2000 cores)in this paper.Compared with the traditional one,it increases the fiber cores from 1000 to 2000 with the same cable diameter and contributes to the effective use of underground facilities.The core technology of this cable is the optical fiber ribbon which is flexible and it has achieved the highest packing density to increase the fiber cores.We call it Spider Web Ribbon(SWR),flexible ribbon or roll-able ribbon.The ribbon adopts a bend insensitive fiber based on ITU-T G.657 and offers a good mass splicing workability because these ribbons are fixed intermittently with UV curable resin in the longitudinal direction.The stable transmission and mechanical characteristics of this cable allow us to deploy it in FTTH access networks.
