In this article the author comments on the medical ethical aspect of the use of prisoners in the experimentation with ketamine, as part of the study "Pharmacologic Effects of CI-581, a New Dissociative Anesthetic, in Man.," by E.F. Domino, P. Chodoff and G. Corssen, which appeared in a 1965 issue of "Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics." She reacts on the description of prisoners in the study as volunteers and assumes that the prisoners have gave some degree of consent to the experiments.
