Presents a prospective follow-up study of families affected by ataxia-telangiectasia to obtain accurate estimates of the risk of cancer for heterzygotes, to confirm the specific association with breast cancer, and to determine whether selected diagnostic x-ray procedures were associated with excess breast cancers in blood relatives of patients with ataxia-telangiectasia.
