Effect of atorvastain therapy on cardiac function in patients with non-ischemic heart failure
摘要:
Objective To observe the effect of atorvastain on serum levels of tumor necrosis factor a(TNF-α),interleukin 6(IL-6),matrix metalloproteases-9(MMP-9)and carboxy terminal telopeptide of collagen type Ⅰ(CITP)in patients with non-ischemic heart failure, and to investigate the possible mechanism of HMG-COA reductase inhibitor to improve cardiac function in patients with non-ischemic heart failure. Methods Thirty-eight patients with non-ischemic heart failure identified by angiography were divided into atorvastain treatment group and rountine treatment group. The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,MMP-9 and CITP were examined and left ventricular ejection(LVEF)fraction and left ventricular end-diastolic dimension(LVEDD)were measured by echocardiography before and six months after treatment. Results The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,MMP-9 and CITP in both groups after treatment were significant lower than those before treatment(P0.05).After treatment the serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,MMP-9,CITP and LVEF in atorvastain treatment group were significantly lower than those in rountine treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Atorvastain can improve cardiac function in patients with non-ischemic heart failure by decreasing the serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,MMP-9 and CITP.
