A preparation which can release a drug not in the stomach but quickly at the target site in the intestine when it is emitted from the stomach and, after a certain period of time, reaches the desired position. This preparation consists of a drug-containing core and a coating film comprising a mixture of a hydrophobic organic compound with an enteric polymer. By using this preparation, a drug can be selectively delivered to a specific site in the intestine, which makes it efficacious in, for example, topical treatments for digestive inflammatory diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, and oral administration of peptide drugs which are liable to be chemically or enzymatically digested except for a specific site in the intestine, etc. or drugs which are absorbed exclusively at a specific site in the intestine.
