摘要：

This review considers the cell biology of dormancy in potato tubers, and the hormonal regulation of dormancy. Dormancy is divided into 3 phases (initiation, maintenance and termination) and the effects of auxins, abscisic acid, ethylene, gibberellins, cytokinins and other endogenous compounds are discussed.
