摘要:

Energy conservation has become an increasingly important topic on college campuses across the country. Not only are universities interested in keeping energy costs down to help minimize tuition increases, the environmental effects of the subsequent emissions are also weighing heavily on universities. Being leaders in research and often being on the cutting edge of social awareness about global issues, climate change is of significant concern for universities on a moral level, as well. Keeping both the financial incentives and the intrinsic reasons in mind, the University of South Carolina can greatly benefit from improving energy efficiency on campus.
