AIM The purpose is to study the effective components in the caulis of Spatholobus suberectus METHODS It is extracted,distributed by different solvents, isolated via column chromatography on silica gel and purified by crystallization RESULTS Six compounds were isolated and identified CONCLUSION\ Angelicin, physcion, lupeol, lupeone, chrysophanol have been isolated from this plant and genus for the first time
