摘要:
Tetrakis(trifluoromethyl)argentates(III) MI [Ag(CF3)4] are the remarkably stable products from the reactions of Ag(I) compounds with Cd(CF3)2 complexes [W. Dukat and D. Naumann, Rev. Chem. Min., 23 (1986) 589]. Comparable reactions of copper(I) halides with Cd(CF3)2. complexes yield a mixture of three trifluoromethyl copper derivatives [D. M. Wiemers and D. J. Burton, J. Am. Chem. Soc., 108 (1986) 832; W. Strauß, Dissertation, Universität Dortmund (1986)]. When an excess of iodine or bromine is added to the mixture of the trifluoromethyl copper compounds, tetrakis(trifluoromethyl) cuprates(III) of the formula MI[Cu(CF3)4] can be isolated as thermally stable colorless salts in high yields. The new salts are identified by spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis. [Cu(CF3)4]− as well as [Ag(CF3)4]− are square-planar complex anions. Some ligand exchange and redox reactions will be discussed.
