Factors Affecting the Leaching of Phtalate Esters of the Experimental Tissue Conditioner
摘要:
Experimental tissue conditioners containing three different types of phthalate esters (DBP, BPBG, BBP) were prepared to investigate the factors affecting the leachability of the phthalate esters. Leaching of phthalate esters was measured under various immersion conditions (distilled water, 5% and 10% ethanol aqueous solution). The experimental tissue conditioner showed the highest value of daily amount of leached phthalate ester on the first day duration, and showed gradual decrease till up to 14 days. The total amount of leached phthalate ester in distilled water for up to 14 days was DBP : 15.21, BPBG : 11.24, BBP : 6.05 mg/g, and DBP : 19.41-32.24, BPBG : 13.16-23.36, BBP : 9.10-15.64 mg/g in ethanol aqueous solution. These results suggested that the leaching of phthalate ester was dependent on the chemical structure and solubility of these esters.
